Chicago Recruiting Trip

Chad, Tom and I drove to meet several other UMBS student in Chicago on Thursday for the two-day marketing recruitment trip with Kraft and PepsiCo. On Thursday night, Kraft hosted a recruiting dinner in downtown Chicago and on Friday they hosted a tour of their facilities in Glenview. That afternoon, we headed to PepsiCo in downtown Chicago for an onsite informational session and company tour. I met one-on-one with an Assistant Brand Manager for Captain Crunch cereal. He had some very good insight into brand management at PepsiCo.

We headed back to Ann Arbor with bags full of sample size goodies from each company, and (hopefully) a better idea of where to focus our respective career searches when on-campus recruiters come in January and February for summer internships.
