Self Reflection

It's always good to take a moment to step back and appreciate the things that really matter. Lately I've been reminded of just how fortunate I have been in my 28 years here. Looking back on the last year, I've had the opportunity to make new friends, see new places, and experience new things. My horizons have been vastly exanded personally, professionally, and relationally. My old relationships have been a strong foundation during my time here. My new relationships have broadened my horizons and love for life. The places I've seen and the experiences I've beheld have been fundamental both from a personal growth and professional growth standpoint. Who knows what next year will hold? Most likely, tragedy and triumph. I look forward to both - in the past year I've become aware of the importance of both. My family has endured hardship, my friends have endured circumstance, and I have endured change; all of which have been fundamental in altering my perceptions for the better. Here's to all of those around me, who make up the very essence of who I am and who inspire me to continue the journey...
