First Year Finished!
: :
Well... that went way too fast.
The first year of my MBA experience here at the University of Michigan has reached it's end. Our MAP project was completed last Thursday. We gave our final to the faculty and Verto (our sponsor company), and then turned in our later that day. We all considered the final product to be of high caliber, and our team is thrilled with the experience we had over the past 7 weeks. Verto, our sponsor company, was also very satisfied with our final deliverable.
The second year MBAs graduated on Friday and I will be sad to see them go. They provided our class with guidance and support throughout the year, and it is up to the Class of 2006 to carry the torch. I also forged some very strong and lasting relationships with several MBA2's over the course of the year. I will be sure to keep in touch with them as they forge on into the real world.
Ann Arbor now looks and feels like a ghost town. It's an empty feeling, but I will soon be gone myself. Tomorrow I leave for the 'Wyoming-Trek' where several of my classmates and I, will be branding cattle, castrating bulls, and engaging in ranch related activities at Jason's Parent's ranch near Sheridan, WY.
I get back on Saturday, and then I pack for my 12-week internship in San Francisco at Walmart.com beginning May 16th. I still don't have my living situation figured out yet, but I am confident I will find something in the next few weeks.
I then return to Ann Arbor on August 10th, 2 days before I leave for the Dominican Republic to lead an m-trek.
Onward and upward...

Cubicle Death is a reminder to think 'outside the cubicle'. It is a compendium of my life as a University of Michigan MBA student and beyond. Enjoy!
