29 Years Young!
: :
Today is my birthday. I am 29 today.
29.
That means 14.5 years ago, I was 14 and a half years old. I was in the 8th grade at Burbank Junior High School. 14.5 years ago, I was on the South Boulder all-star little league team and I pitched against North Boulder (and won) in the semi-finals. 14.5 years ago, I hadn't yet started high school.
10 years ago I was 19. 10 years ago, I was at the University of Texas (for three weeks) before deciding it was time to hang it up and return home. There, I began my undergraduate career at the Unviersity of Colorado, and finished 4 years later at age 23.
5 years ago I was 24. 24... 24... 24...
Okay, so it's true. Nothing really intersting or memorable happens after the age of 21.
Oh well. At least I can spend one more year being 'young' until I turn 30 and feel really, really, old.

Cubicle Death is a reminder to think 'outside the cubicle'. It is a compendium of my life as a University of Michigan MBA student and beyond. Enjoy!

oh sure it does... you get married, you have kids.... you find random people on the internet that you grew up with (albeit at a bit of a social distance) and annoy - intrude on their life - by making random comments on their blog.
There's meaning to life in there somewhere.
Nice blog ;) Thank you for being so kind and welcoming to my family there a few weeks ago... it was really interesting to see what happened and how people change over 10 years time (or don't change at all!).... You and Luke were always pretty cool to me.
