All our work paid off. Our VCIC team (aka Dark Rider) placed 2nd in this weekend's regional competition at CU, giving us a berth to the international finals in UNC this April. It will be the first time since 2002 that a Michigan team has made it to the finals.
I'm not entirely sure why USC beat us out for first place... maybe they paid off the judges ;). In all seriousness though, the VCIC has been an unbelievable learning experience. Our team received tremendous feedback from the VC judges, and had a great time working together long into the night and well into the morning. Chapel Hill, here we come!
